Tee Time at Paddle + Par
We go to our fair share of sim spots around Metro Detroit, and Paddle + Par shot straight to the top of the leaderboard. Between the clean setup, solid gameplay, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to hang out long after your last swing, it’s the kind of place that makes you want to rebook before you even leave. Here’s how it scored.
Paddle + Par delivered one of the most fun sims we’ve tried. Tons of course options, game modes that kept things interesting, and the bonus of switching sports mid-session. A couple call tracking quirks, but nothing that got in the way of a good time.
The space was spot on — bright, modern, and made for a group. No awkward layouts, just open bays with four bar stools up front and a couch-and-coffee-table setup in the back. It felt like a place to actually hang out and enjoy yourself, not just hit balls and leave.
Strong drink menu and solid food options. We’d just love a few more snacky things to graze on between swings. We ordered the white pie pizza and there weren’t any crumbs left. No mobile ordering, but the staff came around regularly and made sure we were set. Zero complaints on the cocktail front. The espresso martini was delicious.
Couldn’t have been easier to book, and everyone we talked to was helpful and genuinely friendly. You can book online, over the phone, or through their app. Pricing was more than fair and if you are looking to launch balls frequently, they offer a membership with significant benefits. Paddle & Par has golf pros for private lessons and also offer leagues & spaces for private events.
Paddle + Par is doing a lot of things right. Solid sim setup, good energy, and the kind of place you’d hit up again—whether you’re chasing a low score or just looking for something fun to do on a weeknight.
